Maybe I will. Who said you need a cliffhanger to have a series?! I'm confused. I have to wait a year for the next book and you're gonna make me wait with an ending like that?!?! AHHHHH!!!

I prefer stand alone's or companion novels these days. I'll just wait until a series is done to enjoy it.MARY IN SCOTLAND https://www.blogger.com/profile/04390613561715464322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2315549757556103515.post-43365248259351672042012-01-31T12:11:02.258+00:002012-01-31T12:11:02.258+00:00I like series - but I prefer to read older series ...I like series - but I prefer to read older series that are already complete so I don't have to wait on the next book. And I really dislike books in a series that aren't wrapped up as if it could be a stand-alone book.TPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10589001490828032365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2315549757556103515.post-30207217291148737742012-01-30T00:42:51.434+00:002012-01-30T00:42:51.434+00:00Mary! Thank you for stopping by the blog =). You...Mary! Thank you for stopping by the blog =). You'r totally right -- Tina Fey is absolutely hilarious. I can't believe I haven't come across your blog before! I love it!

This is a fantastic post -- I love discussion posts in between reviews. I agree with your take on series. I love having other books to look forward to afterward but the waiting seriously sucks. I'm curretly dying for Girl of Nightmares after reading Anna Dressed in Blood and am nervous I will forget the plot before the next one comes out! Ugh.

I'm a new follower!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2315549757556103515.post-55952850187078119272012-01-29T08:44:22.611+00:002012-01-29T08:44:22.611+00:00I love series books, I always feel sad when a book...I love series books, I always feel sad when a book ends and I know I'll never know how things go next for certain characters etc. At least with a series book we get lots more info :) Although I do agree it's hard to wait for the next one to be released!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2315549757556103515.post-23939688222015212592012-01-28T22:19:30.215+00:002012-01-28T22:19:30.215+00:00We're definitely on the same wavelength here! ...We're definitely on the same wavelength here! I'm at the point where I'm thinking 'please NOT ANOTHER SERIES' I think the companion novel has many merits. Have you read the "Outlander" series by Diana Gabladon? Great series....but LONG wait in between each book. Would have been a good idea to wait on those, although I didn't start reading until the first five or six had been published, so I got to go thru them pretty quickly!Jenny https://www.blogger.com/profile/10076043522662731834noreply@blogger.com
